With locations throughout Georgia and the Carolinas, Super-Sod is a leading producer and retailer of sod, seed and compost. Super-Sod had a strong sales and marketing team, but the two sides often operated independently of one another. They needed help aligning sales and marketing and closing the loop from new leads to closed deals.
We worked with the Super-Sod team to implement HubSpot across their sales and marketing teams. We conducted intensive training and developed an automated system to capture leads, ensure follow-ups, and ultimately close more deals. This system integrates directly with their custom ordering software to ensure full closed loop reporting. We also worked with the Super-Sod marketing team to develop an inbound marketing roadmap, updated blog and email template designs, websites for standalone products and more. The most rewarding aspect of working with Super-Sod was watching their team truly embrace HubSpot and the inbound methodology. Using lessons learned from HubSpot’s inbound training and Ascend, Super-Sod’s marketing director, Hillary Thompson, was able to increase the conversion rate on their flagship landing page from 16.71% to 20.6%.
